Dr. Andrew McCormick achieves Accredited Status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

Santa Rosa, CA -- Andrew McCormick, DDS, has achieved Accredited status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), joining 300 other dental professionals around the world who have earned this prestigious designation.

Dr. McCormick reached this status through dedication to continuing education and careful adherence to clinical protocol.

"I am honored to be an Accredited Member of the AACD. Throughout the challenges of the program, I learned the key to providing exceptional cosmetic dental services to my patients," said Dr. McCormick.

AACD Members going through the AACD Accreditation program for dentists and dental laboratory technicians must undergo a three-part process consisting of a written examination, submission of clinical cases for evaluation, and an oral examination. Each candidate must also attend a series of workshops as part of the program.

Dr. McCormick received his DDS degree from the University of Southern California in 1983. While practicing dentistry in Santa Rosa, he completed a University of California-San Francisco Esthetic Continuum, the complete series of Dr. Frank Spear's courses, and numerous classes related to the Accreditation process. He is the Past President of the Academy of Cosmetic and Adhesive Dentistry and current member of the Spear Faculty Club.

Dr. McCormick lives in the Wine Country with his wife, Lisa, and two sons.
